Preparing for Baby Madden

 Baby Shower! Thanks so much Annie, she did such a great job, she is so sweet!

The excitement began when we found out in May that I was 5 weeks pregnant! Called mom and dad as soon as we found out, everyone was so excited for us! First trimester was not so much fun for me, sick all day everyday and not a whole lot of energy, but i tried not to complain too much because i knew it was worth it! We were so anxious to find out whether we were going to have a boy or girl, and finally the ultrasound day was here! It's a boy! We were so excited to hear that news, and seeing him on the ultrasound was amazing i had no idea how much he was moving around til then. . . i watched that ultrasound video so much i'm amazed the disk still works! As the second trimester came rolling around i was feeling so much better and couldn't wait to meet my baby boy! We came up with the name Madden as Jason was playing Madden Football 2012 on PS2, we both loved it! I knew that was his name the first time Jason mentioned it. . . so cute!  We had so much fun getting Madden's nursery ready, Jason and Hunter were good painters and everything looked perfect! Time seemed to go so fast until the third trimester, and i was still waiting for a big belly to appear. Feeling really good at this point, just feeling anxious to finally meet our baby! Making sure we have everything we will need for Madden, and took a class at the hospital that was very helpful in preparing us to be parents! Finally in the last two months people were finally starting to be able to tell i was pregnant, I had a pretty small baby bump my whole pregnancy, so i was pretty comfortable up until a couple days before Madden arrived. I was so fortunate to have such a great pregnancy, and have my baby healthy! I loved being pregnant but the best in next to come. . . . . .
